Our mission is to defend freedom of belief and to end the mistreatment and prejudice faced by religious, non-believer, and LGBTQ minorities in Mauritania. We advocate for secular governance as the foundation for protecting these rights, working to secure their full recognition and to dismantle the systemic discrimination they face building toward a society grounded in pluralism, equality, and inclusion for all.

Founded in 2014, Liberals Mauritania is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the values of liberalism, secularism, and freedom of belief.
